The week of the Tests

This week was totally crazy with all the tests we had.. 

Here is a list with all the test we had this week: 

Monday: >> History Test

Tuesday: >> English Vocab Test (also only one month until 'the day')

Wednesday: >> English AP test Mice and Men
                         Final in Cont. Family Living
       Final in Forensics

Thursday: >> 100 Question Test in English Mice and Men

Chemistry Test

Friday: >> Pre- Final History and we also had a cookout and we played Kick Ball.
(Had the best team eeever!!)

Spirit Week

Spirit Week at Mid Valley 2012!

 Wednesday was Character Day- Linds was a Germany soccer placer (me) and I was a US soccer player (Linds). Everyone loved my hair, thanks to Matty I had such a nice hair haha. I had to take it off after 5hours because it was soo hot under the wig. 
 Thursday was Decade Day- I tried to be a mixture from the 20's and 40's;
Friday was color day + Field day (with the Pie eating contest). The color for the Juniors had dark grey on. 
The field day was so much fun and I really can't eat anymore Banana Pie after the Pie eating contest. At least I finished 2nd from the girls.

Penn State

For three days I was able to visit Penn State college and also live the life with Lindsey. We went with Mr. Evans and Mr.Kova and some other kids from school for the PJAS. The competiton was on Monday and we arrived on Sunday. Sunday Linds and I went to our room and yes after only one night our room was a chaos haha. We had dinner and Monday morning Linds had her presentation and I had to time the kids in the Computer Science. After we were done with our timing and presentation we went to our room and got some food. It was so much fun spending time with Linds and living with her. It never got boring and we had so much fun. Oh, we also went to a dance but the dance was so great that we left after a minute again haha.
Of course all three days it rained like hell..

NEW YORK CITY

We went to the city with the many names. The city is called: The Big Apple, The City that never sleeps, NYC, New York City!
We went to the Big Apple and the first stop we made was at 5th Avenue! Of course I got a picture with the door mans, haha. We went shopping to H&M, Hollister, Zara and I believe some more stores. After the 5th Avenue we went the MoMA, the Museum of Modern Art, and I have to say I loooved it. All the cool arts that were in there were amazing. After the visit in MoMa we finally went to Times Square!!
Yes, Times Square Baby!!
Times Square was like I always imagined it to be. It was bright, filled with people and shops. Em and I found the naked Cowboy and yes we got a picture with him, haha. We also visit the M&Ms World, ToysRus store and experienced the most delicious Hot Dog on the sidewalk of NYC.
I could write much much more but I think this is the shortest form I can tell you about all the great things we did in the Big Apple. You have to see the pictures and you might get the feeling of the fun we had together!!

Grocery Shopping with Jay

It is one day before the beeest day ever!! Today Jay picked me up and we went to Price Chopper (PC) to pick up some stuff for the long ride to New York City! It took us a long time to find some things Jay wants to eat on the bus. We also visited Em at the register and haha Jay almost forgot is wallet, but thanks to Em he still has it!! After we finally got all the food we went to Dunkin to get a nice Iced Coffee and for him a bagel. Next drama haha :D Everything that he asked for was gone, so he had to get a bagel that really wasn't that great. Jays iced coffee was more water than real coffee, so I shared my delicious iced coffee with him.

Haha, you gotta love him and our 'bonding' time!

Avengers!

AVENGERS!
Avengers is the best movie so far!! The entire movie theater was filled. Every single seat was taken and it was an amazing experience. We laughed together, clapped and jumped up the seat.

So go and see it in the movies or on DVD!

Soccer meeting and the Play

Today we had the first soccer meeting for next season. Of course I was there, haha. I signed the list with 'Stephanie till June 21st' . I love the girls so much and it was so funny to sign up. Everyone was loud and crazy like always.

After the meeting Linds and I went to Panera. Panera was our dinner because right after our trip up the mall we went back to school to see the Play.
The play this year was 'Once Upon A Mattress'. It was amazing and so much fun. The school made the play so good and I never thought that a school play could be as good as this one was!!
Everyone was great and I am so happy that I went!! 

Ice - Cream ride with Em!

The weather is beautful and what is better to go for a ride up the country to get some delicious ice-cream?
Today Em and I went to the best ice- cream shop in the area .. The weather was so nice that Em took the top off. We had 89°F and it was so nice to have something cool and cold to eat. We each had only a small ice- cream, but it was huuuugh!! Of course my waffle was broken and I had to eat out off the window..

It was soo much fun!!! 

Phillies vs. Mets

Phillies vs. Mets!
Sherri and Mike took me to Phily to see the baseball game of the Phillies vs. Mets. The weather was so nice and it was crazy how many people were dressed in red..
Unfortunatley the Phillies lost, but still it was the best thing I have ever seen!

After the baseball game we went to the most famous Cheesesteak places, and of my gosh it was  sooo delicious!!!

Every Tuesday Linds and I are getting together for some soccer!
I have to say it is soo much fun.. We are falling in the grass, doing crazy movies, trying to juggle the ball, running and of course having just an amazing time together!!

This is what we do in History Class

This is what we do in History.. You might think 'Ooh, gosh..' but really we just slept for 2 minutes!! I think everybody need a two minutes sleep.. Jay and I were much more relax, after we slept for two mintues..

Ooh, it was soooo good :D 

Beginning of Spring

Today was the first day of Spring!
Finally the weather is getting better, and the weather was already so great!
Emily, Linds, and I went to Ritas in shorts and shirts to get some free Ice.. The line was long, but it was so delicious!! As always we had a great time toegether!!

Normally we planned to drive down to Virgina Beach.. 

Science Olympia Competition

It was time for the Science Olympia Competition in Wilkes- Barre!!
I couldn't believe that already 8 weeks had past and the competition day was there.. This morning a bus drove us down to the Penn State campus in Wilkes- Barre where more than 40 schools from north east Pennsylvania came together to compete against each other in Science.
Mostly everything that could go wrong went wrong in the morning (my luck).. Our bus was late, the paper for forensics wasn't done and I was so nervous that Linds and Matt had to calm me down.. (Jap, we all know that is  100% me!!) 

So after we finally arrived at the campus I went with Nikko and Matt to their 'Build a tower' competition .. I was so happy and proud that their tower hold all the sand and didn't even crack a bit!! So the morning turned in the more positive direction.. (I thought at least that way)
Lindsey, Matt and my competition in 'Experimental Design' started at 10.15a.m. and we thought that we had everything that we needed.. We didn't really practice before, but we felt ready.. Of course here comes the big BUT : We had no idea that we needed a timer, for more improtant than a timer a ruler.. We had one really good pencil and one that was almost gone.. So we went in the competition with a ruler.. Great!!
Our material that we had to build an experiment with were: a superball, play- dough, and rubber bands.
For the three sentences, where he had to chose only one from we needed a ruler or a timer.. The only good thing was I had my Ipod with me ..
We chose the one sentence where we had to compare the bouncing of the balls.. Lindsey was our own writing machine and Matt and I were the experiment tester.
We borrowed a ruler form an other group for 30 sec. and made our own ruler with tape. Our measurements were 2.5 cm apart from each other.. The rest I did with the good Germany metric eye, haha
After we finished in the 60 min. that were given we were happy..

My next competiton was at 2 p.m. in Forensics.. Of course our teacher had such a strong accent that I couldn't understand him.. Even Cassidy couldn't understand everything.. We had a senario where we had to identify:
7 white powders ( they look all the same), 3 plastics, blood type, fiber, hair, ink pens (chromatography) and  fingerprints
all these things in 60 minutes..
So after I was the totally calm one in the group we started with the things that we knew how to do.. We did everything but than we had to do the white powders and plastics.. we had to guess on them because we really didn't have enough time left.. When the teacher said that we only had 5minutes left we had to write a complete conclusion.. so Cassidy cleaned up and I wrote..
After we where done we knew that we wouldn't place at all..

We had the placements in the gym.. The first thing where we competed was 'Experimental Design'.. They said the 4th place, than the 3rd and after that I had no hope left BUT than they called the 2nd place 'Mid Valley' we couldn't believe it.. WE PLACED WITHOUT A RULER!!!!
So at the end we had forensics left.. Cassidy and I had zero hope for that one.. 4th place= nothing..
Hahahahaha, But than 3rd Place 'Mid- Valley' !!
Oh, yes we placed again, whohoo
I was soooo happy!! 

Wrap, Wrap, Wrap it up! Reynolds' Wraps

This week we had a Volleyball Tournament in Mid Valley.
I had a wonderful team called the Reynolds' Wraps. We had the support of the best teacher Mr.Reynolds!
On Monday we had a game against RUN DMC and unfortuantely we lost it by some points, but that wasn't the end of the Wraps!! We were than in the 'do or die' games.
On Wednesday we had a game against Jane's Wolfpack and oooh yes we won! Nothing really could stop us!!!

On Thursday night it was time again to 'Wrap it up!' This time we had one game against a Senior Team and YES we were still in the running. That was the reason that we had another game against a Freshman Team.
What can I say 'Reynolds Wrap were foling their rivals!!' 

Than on Friday we had a break because we had the Dance competiton 'Dancing with the MV Stars'.. Of course I went to the school to see how my teachers are doing and I have to say every single pair was amazing!! The bands that were playing were great, and my company Emily and Lindsey made the night perfect!

So back to Volleyball!!

On Monday we had a game against a Junior team and we lost one day before the final.. But still I had the best team ever!! Thank you so much for letting me be part of the Reynolds Wraps!!! 

Meet Phillis Wevalt

For Valentines Day Lindsey and I thought about making a wonderful card for Matt and Jay..
So we made some thought about it and we created 'Phillis Wevalt'
Our card had nice parfum on it and were written by Phillis!!
The crazy thing is Lindsey and me got also a card, oooh
So maybe there is a real Phillis Wevalt ?

Haha, it was one of the best jokes ever!!

The Summer festival might be in Beverungen

So I got a email with this and I found out that 'Beverungen' is also a possible town for this year!! It would be awesome if you guys could vote on it (Just go under 'B' and you gonna see it) and we might have the chance that we a festival in our area!! 

So, Please vote the last time I saw the 'WDR for a town' was amazing!!

Semi Dance

Today was the DAY!! Today was the Semi Dance. 

We all were looking forward to it and we could not believe that the day actually was here again. 

So of course we all got ready and we took some pictures at Lindsey's house. It was around 4.00 pm and we thought that the dance starts at 5.oopm (this is important for the funny story). So we left in Jay's car and we drove to the country club. It took us about have an hour or 25 minutes. After we got there and no car was there we took a look at the ticket and found out that the dance started at 5.30pm so we were an hour early, haha. Of course that only could happen to us 4 (Matt, Lindsey, Jay and me). That didn't ruin our moods at all! We played games on our phones again each others and we had so much fun. 

After the dinner the music and the dance started!! 

We left earlier because the roads became a bit icy.. We drove to Perkins to have a nice warm coffee and I had Chocolate Pancakes (delicious, haha). The time flew by so quick that we left Perkins around Midnight, haha. After that we went to Lindseys again and watched a movie.
