Merry Christmas

                                                 Merry Christmas or Frohe Weihnachten!
This Christmas was my first Christmas in the US. I have to admit it was unforgettable and                                   amazing.
It is okay, I gonna tell you how everything was and how it was to celebrate Christmas more on the 25th.

We had a Christmas/ Cocktail Party on Christmas Eve. Mom invited some friends and  family. I think we had 13 people over and it was so funny. Sherri made some soup, pasta and a delicious peanut pie. We also had salad, ham, cookies and a lot of fingerfood (Chickenwings, hot dogs, chicken fingers). Honestly I ate too much of the fingerfood and then I just had some soup because I was already so full. After a short break I ate some pie ( everybody knows I always can eat pie).

Our second fridge

On Christmas morning was time to exchange gifts. We had so many presents under our tree and it was great to see the smile on moms and dads face when they opened their presents. I had a picture collage for dad with all the things we did together, like our first football game, puting wood on the truck in good clothes, Ocean City and Treducken dinner. I made for mom a blanket (all by myself) and I have to admit I still like the blanket so much!! Can not wait to have my own one done. I had some pictures from Prom, Yearbook picture and  a picture of our first Christmas. I wrote for each a Christmas card and that was the reason why I made almost  mom and dad cry. Then I opened my gifts. I got a wonderful necklace with my initial and a heart. The story to this is that when I go come I gonna take a piece of their hearts with me. I totally love it. And I also had some German gifts under the tree. Thanks guys for all your gifts!
After the gift opening we had our Christmas breakfast. Delicious!!
We watched some Christmas movies. One of the tradition is to watch 'It's a wonderful Life' and I have to say it is a very nice movie and it doesn't matter that the movie is a very old movie. Still a good one!
Sherri and Mike came over and we laughed and had some fun together.
My own friendly bird!! Thanks Lins!!
