So guys, I said I would go SNOWBOARDING and Hello I did it.
Some of you might already know how this went for me but for everybody who has no idea what I am talking about here is the whole story:
I was so excited to go on Friday January 6 Snowboarding! I have to admit (I think everybody knows that my balance isn't so great and I tend to have some small accidents) I never stood on a board before, but everytime has to have a first time.
I found my balance that morning in my dresser so everything was good.
So we went to Snö mountain on Friday and I was so excited. I got my board and Matt and me went to the bunny hill. It was so funny to get off the lift, was a challenge but I made it. We went down the hill and I have to say it was more on my bud but I still did it. Then we went to the regual hill (without jumps or something like that). The first time I directly got to the edge of the hill and fell on stones with my bud. After that my bud hurt, but I still was alive. We went down the hill and of course I rolled over myself, went face forward down the hill and fell a lot of times but everytime I got up again. It was funny and we had a great time. After that we just had a break and I ate something. About 8 o'clock we went to the bunny hill again just to practice and go down the hill without an accident. Matt and I just pratice at the end of hill to get a feeling for the board and movement. After everything went pretty good we wanted to get a last ride down the hill. Matt got down without falling and it was more than good.

Then it was my turn.
And here comes the story you have been waiting for:
I felt good and nothing happened so far. I went down and I got far. I made it halfway down the hill and I had some speed, BUT yes here come the big BUT!! Then my board turned straight and I had lost my balance because I was leaning forward. So of course I crashed but I crashed not like I did the other times. I crashed right on my left shoulder. I wanted to get up but the problem was I couldn't move my shoulder. After the snow patrol came and decided to put me on a body board they transported me down in the first aid room. They strapped me so bad and I had a neck brace on just in case I had more than just my shoulder. When the switched me from one board to another they dropped me a bit. Of course that doesn't happen so often, but it happened to me. It looked bad I guess. So mom and dad had to come and sign me out. I got around to see a doctor and my shoulder is way better now.

So I am not allowed to go snowboarding again after my first time. But I have to say it was a great time and I think we all won't forget my snowboarding trip!! Haha
Ooh, and here is just a little status from my mom:
Ooh, and here is just a little status from my mom:
'What a night. Against my better judgement my accident looking for places to happen aka Steffy thinks it is a good idea to go snowboarding of all things. Just what an accident prone person should be doing...not! I expected a call to the hospital and sure enough I get a call from Sno Mountain that she is in a neck brace and on a body board and do I want to get her or should they call an ambulance. Sometimes it is such a burden to always be right.'
Maybe I am a bit of an accident prone, but it was just a middle class accident and I am still alive!!
